Yes when will we see iphone support for these MS clients? I would have though with Apple buying the exchange activesync rights there would be more cross support then we have seen. The Iphone is gaining to much ground to be ignored.. Come on MS!!!

We would *really* appreciate an iPhone client, ideally as a proper App rather than using CWA and/or Safari as the sign-in process is painful and window management in the browser is akward. The current CWA won't scroll on iPhone so I can only see the top of the interface.

Just tried on iPhone 3G S Safari and it hanged when I was looking for a contact. Our company has over 400 contacts listed.

Good feedback - thanks. The number of Communicator iPhone users seems to be growing.

I happened to be testing the other day and oddly enough
if you create a meet now in cwa on the desktop and
mail the URL to a user and the user opens the
link on the iPhone the iPhone user can join and send/receive
messages. And viewing a desktop share sort of worked

Hi Curtis,

Thanks for a great post.

You asked for feedback on iPhone: Starting with the iPhone 2.0 software, CWA 2007 and CWA 2007 R2 do not work properly. You can use the Safari broswer on the iPhone to sign-in to CWA and see your contact list, but sending an IM fails to launch a new browser window (even with the "allow pop-ups" option enabled in Safari).

We have not yet been able to test on the upcoming iPhone 3.0 (currently beta) OS.

Using CWA from Safari on a Windows or Mac OSX machine works fine.
