@Claudio; no still having the issue, but since i’m running office 2010 beta i’m ignoring the error.
Stephan, did you manage to get it working? Experiencing the same here post-update:
“Your Exchange server is temporarily unavailable. Communicator will automatically continue trying to reconnect. If this problem continues, contact your system administrator.”
and also:
“Synchronizing with the corporate address book has not been configured by your system administrator. Contact your system administrator to configure this feature.”
(this used to work before the hotfix)
Curtis, I’ll give that a shot thanks. FYI… logging into the Premier MS site also doesn’t work to get the hotfix. You can get as far as the download screen, but the link it sends you to;
https://mpoupload.partners.extranet.microsoft.com/FISMPO/download.ashx also fails.
I don’t see that error – but I am using Exchange 2007.
The hotfix does fix the integration error with Outlook 2010 64bits
But now gives the following error :
Your Exchange server is temporarily unavailable. Communicator will automatically continue trying to reconnect. If this problem continues, contact your system administrator.
(exchange 2010)
Thanks for heads-up. I confirmed the link download link in the KB article is not working. I sent a Microsoft support representative an email about this.
In the meantime, a work-around is to “View and request hotfix downloads” at the top of the KB article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977349/). You supply and email address and a HTTP link is sent to you with the hotfix along with a custom password to unzip it. I tried this and it worked.
Curtis
The backend database update either isn’t available yet or the file hasn’t finished seeding. The page about the update works, but the link to download the update itself fails.
